Geoffrey Conquer

Geoffrey Conquer is a versatile and dynamic pianist based in Toronto. Passionate about collaboration and contemporary music, recent highlights include being a featured performer in Soundstreams' Six Pianos at the Jane Mallett Theatre, performing Dobrinka Tabakova's Suite in Jazz Style with violist Neal Gripp at the Isabel Bader Theatre (Kingston), and creating video recordings with Rebanks Fellows soprano Elena Howard-Scott and baritone Jamal Al Titi in Koerner Hall. Geoffrey himself was a 2016–17 Rebanks Fellow at the Glenn Gould School, and in 2019, he presented over 300 concerts of chamber music as a touring artist with Lincoln Center Stage. With the support of a Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, Geoffrey is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the University of Toronto. He holds a B.Mus. and M.Mus. in Piano Performance from McGill University, where he was awarded numerous scholarships and was a two-time winner of the concerto competition. His principal teachers include Jamie Parker and Marina Mdivani. Geoffrey enjoys coaching and performing chamber music with the next generation of Canadian classical musicians as a faculty member at the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and The Taylor Academy of The Royal Conservatory.
