A native of Akron, Ohio, her sparkling coloratura launched a career with notable performances as  Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte with New York City Opera, Oper Der Stadt Köln, Central City Opera and Opera Carolina to name a few. Other roles include: the tour de force role of Zerbinetta in Ariadne Auf Naxos, Yum Yum in The Mikado and Adele in Die Fledermaus. Ms. Wallin has appeared 
with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Akron Symphony, Canton Symphony, North Carolina Symphony. 
In 2017, Ms. Wallin joined the voice faculty at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory and owns a thriving  private studio, West Side Vocal Academy, in Akron. Her students have been accepted into Music/Music  Theatre programs such as CCM, BWU, AMDA, NYU, Wright State, Michigan, Eastman, Northwestern,  Belmont, Berklee, Oberlin, UNC, and more. Many have appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, National  Tours, Disneyland, regional and national theaters and The Voice. 

Ms. Wallin is Governor Elect for NATS, Great Lakes Region. She recently finished her term as President  for NATS, Ohio Chapter, after serving as Vice President for 2 years and Board Member for 4 years. She is  a regular adjudicator on the national, regional and district level. Her students from youth, high school  and the collegiate level consistently win and place in classical, musical theatre and commercial music categories. Susan earned her B.M. and M.M. degree in Vocal Performance from Kent State University and received the honor of Distinguished Alumnus in 1998.
