Rick Church, Music Director, Conductor, Pianist, and Vocal Instructor. Musical Theatre faculty at Elon University, Wright State University, New York University (Steinhardt),The Pingry School in Martinsville, NJ, and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Professional credits include Music Director/Conductor for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, PGT Entertainment, theaters in NYC and the tri-state area, as well as theaters in Holland,
Norway, Sweden and Denmark. New York Professional Credits include: 42nd Street with Randy Skinner, The King & I, Smokey Joe’s Café, Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, Girl Crazy, Oklahoma, Nuncrackers, Forever Plaid to name a few, as well as Music Supervisor and Conductor for VLAD (Dracula, the Musical) written by Placido Domingo Jr. Rick is a proud member of Local 802 AFM, Associated Musicians of Greater New York, NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), NAfME (National Association for Music Education), MSVMA, MME, and MTEA (Musical Theatre Educators’ Association) and was awarded recognition from the National Foundation for the Advancement in the Arts as an outstanding teacher that influenced the lives of young artists. While continuing his work based out of Michigan, Rick continues to have a professional studio in NYC as a Voice Instructor and Vocal Coach specializing in a strong technical and healthy approach to Musical Theater vocal styles in all areas of the voice.
