Piano

Amy Boyes is a piano and music theory teacher in Saskatoon, SK. 


She is a member of the Royal Conservatory of Music’s College of Examiners (piano and music history) and serves as a Lead Specialist and Presiding Examiner for RCM’s Adjudicator Certification Program. A national council member for the Canadian Music Festival Adjudicators' Association, Amy has adjudicated music festivals from Prince Edward Island to Alberta. Amy has presented at music teacher conferences in both Canada and the US, and her music-related articles have been published in the American Music Teacher, Canadian Music Teacher, Piano, Teaching Music, and Piano Professional magazines. 

 

A longtime supporter of the music-teaching community, Amy serves as Public Relations and Marketing Chair for the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Associations, as well as Secretary for the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers' Association. 


Amy holds Associate Diplomas in Piano Performance (ARCT) and Piano Teaching (ARCT) from the Royal Conservatory, a Licentiate in Piano Recital from Trinity College (UK), a Bachelor of Music from Brandon University, and a Master of Music from the University of Alberta.
