Sonia Reid is a dynamic vocalist, seasoned performer, and dedicated vocal coach with over 25 years of experience helping singers unlock their full potential. A graduate of Redeemer University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, she is a Licensed NeuroVocal Instructor for Popular Styles and a Suzuki Trained Vocal Teacher (Levels 1 & 2).

Sonia’s soulful, powerhouse performances have captivated audiences across Canada and the U.S., with featured appearances at events like the Sasktel Jazz Festival, The Bassment, and YXE Divas with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Her expertise and innovative teaching methods have earned media recognition, including a feature interview on CTV with Caitrin Hodson.

As the founder of Sonia Reid Studios, she works with artists and aspiring singers to find, free, and refine their unique voices. Her studio offers one-on-one training, vocal workshops like Diva Notes and professional development for teachers through the Neuro Vocal Method — a structured coaching program designed to help vocalists become confident, income-generating coaches themselves.

Beyond the studio, Sonia serves as a choir director and adjudicator, further shaping the next generation of vocal talent. Whether on stage or in a coaching session, her mission is clear: to help singers cultivate the emotional depth and technical skill needed to create meaningful, memorable performances.
