Alix is from Montréal, Québec and is presently residing in Toronto.
A professional actor, director, movement director, intimacy director, writer, and theatre facilitator, she also has a habit of investing her passion in community-expanding initiatives. Some initiatives she’s very proud of include: Curator/Artistic Associate for the Magnetic North Theatre Festival’s Industry Series, originating the peer-assessed professional theatre awards Prix Rideau Awards, serving as a two term Canadian Actors Equity Association Councillor, and assisting with Ottawa’s Wrecking Ball event for 2 years, to name but a few. She presently teaches at Randolph College of the Arts, The Royal Academy of Music, the Glen Gould Academy and, at times, at the Canadian Opera Company. Many may recognize Alix‘s voice in the award winning series, Assassin’s Creed.
Of note: Alix is also a meditation leader and a proud mentor to many young artists.
