Krista Rhodes

Diploma Piano

Krista Rhodes is an in-demand collaborative pianist, educator, and recording artist in the GTA, Hamilton, and Niagara regions. She has appeared on stages in North America and Europe, and has had her music heard on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

During her career, Krista has worked with many choral groups, prestigious soloists, opera companies, and orchestras.  With Honours degrees in both Music and Education, her teaching has taken her to both school boards and music academies, and she collaborates with universities and colleges.

This season’s appearances include the Elmer Iseler Singers, the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, the Niagara Symphony, the Talisker Players (Toronto), and the Grand River Chorus. Krista is the accompanist for Chorus Niagara, the Brott Festival Chorus and the Bach Elgar Choir. Notable works performed this year include Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, Handel’s Israel in Egypt, and the world premiere commissioned work, Beven’s Last Light Above the World.
